Mag Ik Dood plot

'Mag Ik Dood' is about the poignant lack of help for people who find their lives unbearable and hopeless due to chronic psychological complaints and who prefer death to life. The personal reason for director Eveline van Dijck is the suicide of her sister Cathma. The central question is how to deal with a death wish. The next of kin, the legislator, a psychiatrist, a public prosecutor, a consultant from the NVVE, who is also a humanistic counselor, and a counselor who works together with Stichting De Einder, will be interviewed. For people with chronic psychological complaints and with a death wish, it is virtually impossible to die in a dignified manner.
