Madness in the Desert: Paris to Dakar Rally plot

When French motorcyclist Thierry Sabine ran into trouble in the Libyan desert in '77, he came up with the idea of organizing the desert rally. The Paris-Dakar rally is born. The rally became a playground for adventurers. However, the match succumbed to its own success and claimed the lives of 60 people, many of them local residents. In 2008, the threat of terrorism marked the end of the rally.
