Lyd plot

"A story of a city that once connected Palestine to the world — what it once was, what it is now, and what it could have become."

This partly fictional documentary takes a critical look at the divided city of Lyd, once a Palestinian capital but now an Israeli city marked by racism and violence. The film alternates between documentary footage and animated visions of an alternate reality, exploring the experiences of Palestinians and imagining a future free from occupation and division.
