Lutar, Lutar, Lutar plot

After Clube Atlético Mineiro, better known as Galo, finally conquered the Copa Libertadores in 2013, the directors started working on this documentary. Not just as a tribute to legendary, underrated players like Reinaldo, who was arguably a better footballer than Pelé. But also to shine a light on decades of injustice, of barely winning, of arbitrary opposition and racism, in which the big clubs from Rio de Janeiro were invariably favored by the machinations of those in power. The film makes clear how irrational and frustrating, but also how beautiful club love can be.
