Lumea Vazuta de Ion B. plot
"Fighter. Drunk. Visionary. Outsider. Artist. Homeless. Genius."
Sixty-year-old drifter Ion Barladeanu lives on the streets of the Romanian capital Bucharest, where he earns his living by cleaning up garbage. When a gallery owner discovers that Barladeanu has a collection of fascinating socially critical collages that he made during the communist regime of Ceausescu, Ion B. turns into a celebrity overnight. Director Alexander Nanau followed Ion B. from the moment his art was discovered. He built a close relationship with the vagabond and outcast, who resembles the ideal artist: an artist who makes art only for himself, far away from the outside world and without any expectations.
