Low Definition Control - Malfunctions #0 plot

Images rule our lives. From the uterine ultrasounds that let us look at an unborn baby, via the panopticon of the surveillance camera to the future predictions based on radar images. By showing only those images, supported by a voice-over, Low Definition Control - Malfunctions #0 asks questions about the certainties suggested by that perception. Automated pattern analysis of images in public space will increasingly label anything that deviates as suspicious. Someone who stands still for too long and eats a sandwich where the rest walk through will stand out. Public space thus becomes a place of risk.
