Like Dew in the Sun plot

Documentary maker Peter Entell visits Ukraine for the first time in his life. It is the homeland of his father, who fled the conflict and war-torn country in 1914 at the age of two with his parents. Why does Ukraine have so much misery, Entell asks a soldier he has just shown his father's childhood photo. The soldier does not answer. As Entell attempts to track down his Jewish ancestors, he records how the current civil war is tearing the country apart and sometimes comes mind-bogglingly close to the heat of battle.
