Life without Death plot

After the death of his beloved grandfather, Canadian filmmaker Frank Cole decides to face death himself: he makes a solo journey across the Sahara desert, with only a camel and a food supply as support. Via Mauritania, Mali, Niger and Chad, he hopes to reach the Red Sea - a distance of more than 6000 kilometers. The hellish journey lasts for months and often Cole gets lost, because his map turns out to be wrong once again. The setbacks are countless.
