Letters from the Desert (Eulogy to Slowness) plot

The hectic pace of a large Indian city. Honking cars, screaming people, noise. In an empty, shabby apartment, a man writes a letter. It is delivered by train to a tiny station in a desert village. The local postman collects the bag of mail and cycles down a deserted desert road. He then travels on foot over the endlessly stretching sand dunes. First past the 'post office', where all incoming mail is carefully weighed, stamped and documented, then past the huts of the desert inhabitants. The same ritual always takes place.
