Letter to the Editor plot

This film essay is made up of photos that documentary maker Alan Berliner cut from The New York Times over forty years and then archived it. Together, the thousands of images form a monument to a medium that, according to Berliner, is under threat from all sides, including by the digital revolution and world leaders that journalists call the enemy of the people.
