Les Travestis Pleurent Aussi... plot

The South American country of Ecuador's second largest source of income is the money Ecuadorians living abroad send home. Mujerón (Mia) and Romina left Ecuador because of the hostility towards transvestites and transgenders, and the economic malaise in the country. In Paris they work in prostitution in the infamous Bois de Boulogne. The documentary gives an honest and disconcerting picture of the exploitation of illegal transgender people and the harsh conditions in which they have to survive in Western Europe.
