Les Prières de Delphine plot

Delphine loses her mother at a young age and is abandoned by her father. When she is raped at the age of 13, she ends up in prostitution to support herself and her daughter. She eventually marries a Belgian man three times her age, hoping to find a better life for her and her daughter in Europe. But today, 7 years later, little of that European dream remains.
