Vassily Kandinsky is the founder of abstract art and is widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of his time. He is the creator of the first non-figurative work in the history of 20th century modern art, a watercolor from 1910 that will be called "Abstract". He was born on December 16, 1866 in Moscow. He started studying painting at the age of 30 and also worked as an art theorist.
