Les Plus Grands Peintres du Monde: Camille Pissarro plot

Camille Pissarro is known as one of the founders of Impressionism. Born in Saint-Thomas in 1830 in the West Indies, he arrived in Paris to study there during the year of the World's Fair. Pissarro became famous for his scenes of Montmartre, the Louvre and the Tuileries Garden. He is primarily an Impressionist and then a Neo-Impressionist painter. He also painted scenes of rural life and landscapes. His pupils included great artists such as Paul Cézanne and Paul Gauguin. Pissarro died on November 13, 1903 in Paris.
