Les Enfants Terribles plot

In the village of Keskincik in southern Turkey, Zeynep suffers from a strict traditional upbringing. She works in a textile factory, but dreams of studying. Her brothers Cemal and Mahmut are also having a hard time. Like Zeynep, Cemal is looking for freedom, Mahmut is trapped in a loveless marriage with seventeen-year-old Nezahat. Their eldest brother, the film-maker Ahmet Necdet Çupur, left the parental home twenty years ago. He returns after a message from Zeynep. Ahmet finds a very unhappy family. His father regularly scolds his children, his mother does not know what to do with the tensions and the young people live between hope and fear.
