Le Loup d'Or de Balolé plot

In a quarry in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, about 2,500 men, women and children smash stones all day long. It is physically demanding, monotonous work that yields a degradingly low salary. Intermediaries claim most of the profits. The miners are a forgotten group, living under medieval conditions. But when the young filmmaker Aïcha Boro visits them, she doesn't find all misery. It is especially their dignity, resilience, love and humor that stand out.
