Le Chant des Tortues plot

Although the Arab Spring did not push the Moroccan people to the same extremes as in Tunisia or Egypt, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets to peacefully express their desire for more democracy. For example, King Mohamed VI's 'February 20 movement' was able to obtain important constitutional reforms without threatening the stability of the country. Jawad Rahib, an experienced documentary filmmaker (El Egido), educated and living in Belgium, analyzes this libertarian breakthrough in a country that until recently was gagged by censorship and led by a royal family with little inclination to share power.
