Last Chapter plot
In 1984, a long narrow boat slides through the San Juan River, the border between Nicaragua and Costa Rica. A group of international journalists are on board, on their way to a press conference with guerrilla leader Edén Pestora in La Penca. A Danish photographer clutches his equipment to his chest. A bomb, it turns out not much later, that kills four people and injures dozens. One of them, journalist Peter Torbiörnsson, returns to Nicaragua 25 years later. The tall Swedish sixties comes to tell a story about the bomb attack. This is not easy in a country that is burdened by the trauma of years of civil war. Like a true detective, Torbiörnsson goes in search of those responsible for the attack.
