Lanawaru plot

Lanawaru evokes a spiritual world in which rituals play an important role in maintaining balance between the community and its environment. “What is the smoke for?” a boy asks his grandfather as he goes around spreading a mist near their cottage and along the edge of the forest. “It is to appease the spirits of the jungle. It protects us.” Grandfather’s help is also called upon when a member of the local community goes missing.
