Lagos - Notizen aus einer Stadt plot

'Lagos - Notizen einer Stadt' is a portrait of the second largest city in Africa and which, according to a United Nations report, could become the third largest city in the world by 2025. The Nigerian Lagos is known as the New York of Africa with the slogan 'Lagos, the place where you can make it'. The documentary follows six protagonists through the traffic flow, to the rhythm and unique energy of the city, to the workplaces and centers of religion and music. The film showcases the commercial drive, the power of faith and the ubiquitous musical and spiritual heritage of Nigerian legend Fela Kuti, Afrobeat inventor and political activist.
