La Vie à Venir plot

Twins Eden and Leandro were born prematurely. Out of mother Laurence's womb, they find themselves rushed into a hostile world of a hospital surrounded by worrisome sounds of machinery and doctors and nurses shielded in white. Over the course of weeks, Laurence fights isolated in the neonatology ward for the young lives of her children. Bleeding and respiratory infections weigh on the heap. Surrounded by a medical team, her life becomes the twins' rhythm, floating between vision of improvement, exhaustion, disappointment and fear of death. The organic bond between Laurence and her children is vital, together they fight a battle that will bind them for a lifetime.
