La Supplication plot
On April 26, 1986, one of the worst nuclear disasters of all time took place in Chernobyl, Ukraine. Thousands of rescuers came to the disaster area to evacuate residents and to seal and decontaminate the accident site. However, they hardly had any protective clothing and many of them are dead or seriously injured today.
