"You must breathe it to believe it!"

Documentary about the then still very unknown life behind the Chinese wall. Lizzani takes the viewer along various facets of Chinese life. A special feature in the theaters was the so-called AromaRama, an atomizer of scents, which had to make the impressions extra powerful. For example, it smelled of flowers when the many gardens were displayed and of oil in flight over the ports.
