Two years ago, in Guatemala City, an explosion in a building surfaced the archives of the state police. This made it possible to start an investigation into the hidden history of the Latin American country from the military coup of 1954 until the end of the civil war in 1996. What happened to the approximately 45,000 missing persons? In this modest film, young Guatemalans in white gloves and face masks work their way through the archive material.
