La Deutsche Vita plot

The Italians in Berlin are a special breed. Thousands arrive every year to stay and six years ago filmmaker Alessandro was one of them. An old saying predicts that it is only after a six-year stay in a foreign country that one realizes what you really are: an immigrant. People feel disoriented and homesick. Alessandro's search for other Berlin Italians culminates in a genuine comedy.
