La Ciudad Oculta plot

This documentary shows a descent into the 'guts' of Madrid. The enormous labyrinth of tunnels, sewers and metro stations is an immense spider web on which the city rests and on which we depend. This eerie underground place is also the habitat of rats, cats and owls. Thus, this underbelly of a city becomes an organism in itself. Groping past dark, enigmatic tunnels that seem made to get lost in, this film shows a world that is normally hidden from our view.
