Koran by Heart plot

In Cairo, a Quran-reading competition is being organized, in which 110 children from the Islamic world participate. This documentary follows 2 boys. One is from Senegal and the other is from Tajikistan. In addition to the 2 boys, they also follow a very young and smart girl from the Maldives. The pressure on the children is enormous and because of the different views on Islam, cultural and social values clash, causing the children to wonder what is important in life.
