Kinshasa Beta Mbonda plot

Ten percussionists brighten up a working-class neighborhood in Barumbu, Kinshasa with their music. The group, Beta Mbonda, is made up entirely of former members of violent youth gangs called kuluna. Now they are committed to the survival of a traditional music genre that is in danger of disappearing. They make their own instruments and play a typical Congolese repertoire.
