Johan Simons: Zeg Dat Het Goed Komt plot

Johan Simons is a passionate theater maker. Documentary maker Ireen van Ditshuyzen followed him for the past two years. Traveling, at home with his wife and children and especially working on performances. An equally difficult, charismatic man with a mission as a European theater maker. Using fragments from stage performances, Van Ditshuysen shows the different sides of his oeuvre. Actors he regularly works with play 'their Simons as a director'. Elsie de Brauw (his wife), Betty Schuurman, Chris Nietvelt and the actors Pierre Bokma and Wim Opbrouck provide a revealing portrait. Simons himself provides the accompanying commentary in the documentary.
