Joan's Boys plot

With behavioral therapy, child psychologist Joan Sträter tries to stop the derailing violence between the fourteen-year-old twin brothers Alaa and Adil. Where most people prefer to look away, she looks on. Not only the brothers allow the camera deep into their private domain, but also the psychologist. Images of a relaxed Joan singing at a choir rehearsal are intersected with images of a violent war game that culminates in a violent escalation between the brothers. Can Joan prevent a repeat in the future?
