Joan of Arc plot

"Child of War, Soldier of God"

This docudrama shows the well-known story from the eyes of Jeanne herself. Her efforts to liberate her homeland became world famous. The visions and voices that prompted her to do so still inspire many people today. Yet this "Virgin of Orleans" was an ordinary peasant girl of the province, believed by almost no one in her day. Her "vocation" was exploited by the French crown prince and then put herself on the throne.
