Je Papa Is Je Vader Niet plot

Frank Evenblij tells the story of his best friend Daan, whom he has known since high school. Daan van Rijssel was born in August 1979 to an anonymous sperm donor, but has never felt the need to know who his biological father is. Frank, on the other hand, had an extraordinarily strong bond with his father until he was sixteen, when he suddenly passed away. Frank and Daan therefore discussed the meaning and importance of the genetic father-son relationship endlessly in their youth. To get rid of it, Daan invented at a young age that Huub van de Lubbe, the singer of De Dijk, was his father. An innocent fact that unexpectedly develops into a major and substantial theme in his life.
