J'veux du Soleil! plot
After the large-scale manifestations of Les gilets jaunes, François Ruffin, French Member of Parliament and filmmaker and cinematographer Gilles Perret, decided to seek out the people behind this movement to gauge their motivation. They traveled throughout France for six days in November 2018, visiting the barricades at the roundabouts and meeting people of all kinds. The movement of disgruntled citizens has been going on for half a year now. In the media, the yellow vests are often presented as nothing more than a caricature, as an irregular mess with no clear demands.
