Innocence of Memories plot
In 2008 Pamuk's “The Museum of Innocence” was published, in which he described the tragic love story of the wealthy Kemal and his obsession, the handsome shop assistant Fusus. Four years later, he opened the doors of a real museum in Istanbul of the same name, displaying everyday items from that story: socks, dresses, jewelry, even the ends of hundreds of cigarettes. Walking through that museum is like walking through the memories of someone's life, a feeling that “Innocence of Memories” also evokes in the viewer.
