India's Forgotten People plot
In India, the people of the Gadia Lohar community travel without destination for their work. They are completely cut off from the modern world and still live with the same customs as they did centuries ago. In addition, they are extremely friendly and family oriented. However, these people, this nomadic community, has been forgotten. Their history is nowhere in the textbooks, although their ancestors are descended from the royal Maharana Pratap. Because they travel, they receive no government support and they live in great poverty. Filmmaker Deana Uppal reveals their story in this documentary.
