Il N'y Aura Plus de Nuit plot
This documentary examines the tension between perception and interpretation, in which pilots and gunners of combat helicopters, who carry out night missions in war zones, make choices with far-reaching consequences. These consequences are great for their targets, but also for themselves, because the fear of mistake is always present. During their flights, these soldiers observe movements on the ground with thermal cameras: everything that gives off heat lights up. From a distance, landscapes, villages, people and animals abstract into dark and light spots, lines, surfaces and contours. Is the figure among them a Taliban fighter with a Kalashnikov or a shepherd with a stick?
