"Two teachers. Ten students. One epic homework assignment."

In rural North Carolina, designers Emily Pilloton and Matthew Miller work with local high school students to help them change their lives and communities. Using credit and grant money, they battle the school board and Pilloton and Miller spend a year guiding their students through a design and construction project that requires much more than simple construction skills. It shows ten students the power of design that reshapes not only their city but also their sense of what is possible.
