Icebound plot

"The greatest dog story ever told"

In January 1925, the life-threatening infectious disease diphtheria breaks out in Nome in Alaska, where the gold rush once reigned. Children are especially affected. Intrepid sled dog riders race against time to reach the small town with medicine. Before that, more than thirty men with more than 150 dogs in relay relays covered more than a thousand kilometers through the Alaskan wilderness under appalling conditions.
