Politics and the press are closely linked in Japan through the so-called 'press clubs' (kisha kurabu). One of the journalists fighting for more independence is Isoko Mochizuki of the Tokyo Shimbun newspaper. Her trademark is the fiery way in which she questions politicians and spokespersons. Documentary maker Tatsuya Mori follows her, among other things, as she reports on a scandal surrounding Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
