I'm Not Dead Yet plot
"A story of intrigue in an eccentric English family, brought to light by a 'King Lear'-like struggle over the inheritance of their Gothic stately home."
Nothing is what it seems. The romantic estate of Elizabeth Stopford's grandmother turns out to be the scene of a painful trauma for thirty years. The division of roles in this family history, which finally deprives even the moving family films of their innocence, is unraveled. Grandmother Ruth (87) promised the family estate to one of her two daughters, with whom she lived for 35 years. However, the transfer causes so much tension that Ruth leaves for her other twin daughter in France for a few weeks. If she keeps postponing her return, tensions also rise in France. Painful memories of a hidden incest past can no longer be suppressed. Ruth's continued denial of that past has left a deep wound between the twin sisters and between mother and daughters.
