I Am Golden Karen plot

The Karen have been one of the largest oppressed ethnic minority groups in Burma for years. Many of them fled the bloody conflict with the Burmese government - the longest guerrilla war in the world - and work and live in Thailand. Thawaa is a young Karen hip hop musician. The story of him and his family symbolizes an entire generation that grew up as second-class citizens in Thailand, but still harbors a strong desire to return to their homeland.
