Historjá - Stygn för Sápmi plot

The impressive embroideries of textile artist Britta Marakatt-Labba tell the story of the Northern European nomadic Sami people. The Sami traditionally followed the reindeer herds in their annual food migration, while at the same time fighting for their independence. Director Thomas Jackson follows Marakatt-Labba in a beautiful setting of vast northern landscapes.
