Historjá - Stygn för Sápmi plot

Textile artist Britta Marakatt-Labba's embroideries tell the story of the Northern European nomadic Sami people. The Sami traditionally followed the reindeer herds in their annual food migration, while at the same time they had to fight for their independence. Director Thomas Jackson follows Marakatt-Labba in a setting of vast northern landscapes.
