In many countries nowadays you can give birth fully automatically on a cloud of epidural bliss. For the rest of the world, having a child is simply a matter of suffering. “Why is that so?” asks Myleine Guiard-Schmid in this visual essay. Leaving aside the fact that it gives you a beauty of a child - why can't childbirth be pleasant?
