Anyone who thinks that most American crack addicts live in dark New York between residential barracks that have been declared uninhabitable, will be released from their prejudices with this documentary. This film also puts an end to any romantic views on the drug scene. Filmmakers Jon Alpert and Maryann De Leo offer a merciless vision of the existence of addicts. They were assisted in the making of the film by Rich Farrell, an ex-drug addict from Lowell.
