Piet Hein Eek is generally regarded as one of the leading designers of applied art in the Netherlands. He has become known to a large audience with his furniture made of scrap wood. With the same furniture, he has also become the most copied designer in our country. He started a company that grew explosively, opened his own factory/shop/gallery in Eindhoven in 2010 and from that moment on, the curious public from home and abroad flocked to it.
