Het Laatste Hoofdstuk plot

A documentary in which two Dutch survivors of the German concentration camps tell about their horrific experiences. The stories about the death marches in which the exhausted prisoners had to walk through Germany at the end of the Second World War. Just like the memories of the stench and the way the dentures of the deceased were checked for gold molars. The difference between the two men is huge. One tried to make himself invisible in captivity, the other did "all that God forbade" and even strangled fellow inmates to survive.
