Herz des Himmels, Herz der Erde plot

According to tradition, the Mayan calendar will end in 2012. But to see how the world will end, we need not turn to the esoteric. Six young Mayas show what their daily and ceremonial life looks like. The harmony with nature that is the basis of life for them is hard to find in the Western view and experience of life. Their determination to stop the destruction of their culture and natural environment is clear.
