Portrait of Anthony Hopkins, who achieved worldwide fame for his Oscar-winning role of the cannibalistic psychopath Hannibal Lecter and then built a major career in Hollywood. What made the young Hopkins of Wales become the incarnation of absolute evil when he took on the role of Hannibal Lecter? How did he get from the bricks of Port Talbot, a poor, grim industrial town, to the lush palm trees of Hollywood, California? Many film fragments are shown in this documentary, all intended to better understand him.
