Han Tror Han Är Bäst plot

Carmine is a family man who has worked hard all his life and is also active in the union. Aldo has seven children and has ended up in prison several times as a drug dealer. Carmine and Aldo are brothers, but haven't said a word to each other in 13 years. At their last meeting, their mother's funeral, the two got into a scuffle and tried to strangle Carmine Aldo. Fortunately, their father, the grandfather of filmmaker Maria Kuhlberg, intervened. Maria wants the two brothers to reconcile, and confronts her mother Tereza and her uncles with their past and the difficult road they traveled as immigrants from Italy. Maria Kuhlberg investigates whether the wounds of the past can be healed and at the same time breaks the taboo of family violence.
